Affairs of State have completed the first 6 weeks of the Tasmanian Export Freight Logistics Advisory Service (TEFLAS) on behalf of the Tasmania Government. In our initial consultations we have engaged with a range of Tasmanian export focused SMEs and presented to the Launceston Chamber of Commerce. We will be engaging with other industry and regional associations in the coming month.
Our role is to assist Tasmanian businesses overcome freight and logistic challenges and to help them manage the impact of ongoing supply chain disruptions.
Examples include Primary Producers; Oyster Growers, Wineries, Essential Oils and Spring Water providers. Others include High-tech manufacturers and Logistics/Freight providers.
We are working closely with Government and Freight companies to assist businesses with the challenges of getting their products to the mainland and to many long standing International Export markets.
