Regional Development Australia Barwon South West (RDA BSW) selected Affairs of State to evaluate the impacts of the Spirit of Tasmania relocating from Port Melbourne to Geelong from October 2022.
The project focused on the circular economy and closed loop analysis along with logistics / freight changes with associated consideration for Infrastructure, regional economy, freight suppliers and product extending to relevant business matching opportunities.
The key output of this piece of work was to identify two-way trade opportunities that leverages the Spirit of Tasmania’s relocation to Geelong.
