Welcome to the NTDC Board, Hans van Pelt 👋

Northern Tasmania Development Corporation is pleased to welcome Hans van Pelt to our Board of Directors. Hans brings more than three decades of executive leadership and governance experience spanning aviation, transport, infrastructure and regional economic development.

As Principal of Affairs of State, Hans provides strategic advisory services to government and industry. His previous roles include CEO of Launceston Airport and Tasmania’s Access and Aviation Director, where he helped strengthen Tasmania’s connectivity, facilitate investment and support regional economic growth. Hans also serves as Director and Treasurer of the Launceston Chamber of Commerce.

A passionate advocate for Northern Tasmania, Hans brings valuable expertise in strategic leadership, investment attraction, freight and logistics, stakeholder engagement and commercial development.
